My Place
Anything Green Online recently signed a Letter of Understanding with My Place
(www.myplacewnc.org)
a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide housing and positive youth development to
homeless and at-risk youth between the ages of 16 and 24 to develop a produce business to raise funds,
a portion of which will be donated to My Place.
My Place will refer potential customers to Anything Green Online to purchase produce boxes to be delivered
to a convenient location for pickup. Also, My Place will invite supermarkets around the country to purchase
fresh produce from Anything Green Online to be sold under the "My Place" label. My Place will collect
signatures from consumers requesting their local supermarket to carry the "My Place" label in their
stores. Estimates are that 2,000 signatures will be collected, locally, and 1 million signatures nationally
to help homeless youth across the nation . 1,000 signatures were collected in 4 days!
If you are interested in helping My Place by adding your name and supermarket to the list please go

Lighten Up 4 Life
AGO recently teamed up with Lighten Up 4 Life (www.lightenup4life.com)
a popular and successful weight loss program created by Mission Hospitals in Asheville, North Carolina.
AGO will market its on-line shopping experience to the more than 3,000 program members from 250 companies
in the Asheville area. The team at AGO was excited to work with the LU4L members as it is a perfect
group to benefit from its low cost direct to consumer produce program.
Mission Hospitals was given national recognition by receiving the 2009 Nova Award from The American
Hospital Association that is given to hospitals that create programs to improve community health for
developing the Lighten Up 4 Life program. It is noted by the AHA that the 2009 winners took advantage
of new technologies and an old-fashioned can-do spirit to change the future of individuals, families
and whole communities.
